Guess who’s beefing? It’s no surprise here that the latter come from @ChrisBrown, but what sparked these tweets is what the real surprise is.
Frustrated with his latest failed attempts to return to the music scene (or as some would say “become relevant”) @ItsBMcKnight fired off a few shots at R Kelly, as well as, Chris Brown.
While I will agree that Brian McKnight is an R&B legend who has had multiple hits and without a doubt made his mark in his genre, this still doesn’t excuse his recent efforts. Seriously? Who wants to hear someone who’s resembles their elder sing about how a woman’s vagina works. While it may be similar to today’s music as far as raunchiness we at Rated R Radio prefer the Chris Brown approach. No not hitting, but hits we can relate to. Granted McKnight probably isn’t aiming at my age class with his musical efforts, however, there’s no doubt that in the world of blogs and gossip sites the generation after him is in control. What do we recommend? Go back to the artist we knew and loved. We don’t want to hear you sing about pussy. We want the “One Last Cry”, counting down from 10 “start back at one” Brian McKnight. Let’s leave the bed wetting and stripping to someone with a new school flavor who’s image allows him to sing such risky lyrics. Oh and another thing… If Rihanna can forgive and forget you need to as well. Basically… Let him be great dammit!
